Bright Ideas

I have a light bulb.
I wish that meant I had a good idea, but no. Unfortunately that merely means, I have a light bulb.
Heck! It’s not even code for something more interesting… like… “hey, I have a light bulb, wink-wink nudge-nudge”… I have a glass orb with metal bits. And it’s so cool!
No, I’m not trying to break a new record for the epitome of lameness despite the fact I’m probably not all that far off. And even though simple things please simple minds… I find it a truly elegant object, and very well designed.
One day I’ll do something cool to it, like stick it in a glass bottle, and it’ll sell for millions as fine art. Take two things I did not make, two things that aren’t found together… unite them using glue I did not make, and be acclaimed a genius.
Or perhaps not.
